McDonald's France
As a Designer on the French McDonald’s app, I worked across the full design spectrum, crafting user experiences, building a design system, and collaborating with different expertise to bring optimized features to life. My role focused on three core areas :
UX & UI Design
We are designing user-centric flows that make mobile ordering, customizing meals, and accessing loyalty rewards intuitive and efficient. Working with another designer, we added new functions to the app and used interactive prototypes to validate ideas.
I then translated these into visually polished, accessible UI designs that aligned with McDonald’s guidelines.
Design System Management
To support scalability and consistency across the app, I contributed to the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive design system. I developed reusable components, defined UI guidelines (color, typography, spacing), and partnered with iOS and Android engineers to ensure accurate implementation.
This system became a single source of truth that accelerated design and development while maintaining visual coherence.
Strategy & Collaboration
I worked closely with product managers, developers, and QA to align design decisions with business goals and technical requirements. Additionally, I regularly presented design concepts and prototypes to McDonald’s intern team, clearly communicating about the design choices.
